eLearning describes the learning processes using electronic media, like internet-technologies, learning platforms or online services, making possible, to work on learning contents independently of time and place. The Faculty of Education, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) has been gradually implementing elearning to supplement face-to-face instruction since 1996. This mode of online learning is also known as blended online learning. This paper briefly reports the studies on the in-service school administrators’ perception of the implementation of eLearning in the faculty by using the eLearning platform provided by the UKM through the use of LearningCare software. A total of 80 students from 2 cohorts of a special undergraduate programme designed for the non degree holder primary school administrators (sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia) responded to a self-report questionnaire consisting of 26 Likert scale items after experiencing two semesters of learning environment using the blended online learning. The study reported that the school administrators generally viewed eLearning positively, and those with better computer background tend to have more positive attitudes toward this type of learning environment. The study also showed that they felt positive about the features provided by the LearningCare platform. Nonetheless, they felt that there is insufficient technical support available in the eLearning process.
