I am a full professor with tenure in the Department of Political Science at Clemson University, the land-grant university of the state of South Carolina in the United States. Also I hold the position of tenured professor in the Department of Languages at the same institution. I am the author of numerous books and monographs on various global affairs topics including language politics and maritime and naval affairs. During the spring semester of 2005, I took a Clemson University course for college professors inaugurating online courses, and starting in the Summer 2005 term I inaugurated a new online course for middle school/high teachers and educators on global affairs.
